This Burrata Pizza Sandwich is a Lunch Time Gamechanger

Calling all pizza lovers—here is a tasty recipe centered on pizza crust that is sure to become a super satisfying lunch. Here is how to make a filling and scrumptious burrata pizza sandwich that will be certain to brighten your day.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds pizza dough
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 4 ounces burrata balls
  • 8 teaspoons olive oil
  • 12 tablespoons fig preserves
  • 12 slices prosciutto

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 550°F. Make 4-ounce balls of dough and on a lightly floured surface, roll balls until they reach an 8″ diameter. Fold the top half of the dough over the bottom but don’t seal.
  2. Bake crust for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Carefully open the crust. Add 3 tablespoons of jam, 1 burrata ball, 1/4 cup of arugula, and 3 pieces of prosciutto in each crust. Drizzle oil and season with salt and pepper. Continue until all 4 sandwiches are made.
