An ever-popular brunch cocktail, the Bloody Mary has been a hit over the years, particularly for tomato lovers. From a scrumptious, relaxing Sunday lunch to airplane drinks menus, it’s no surprise that this cocktail has become so popular thanks to its zesty taste. Here is how to make the perfect Bloody Mary at your next brunch.

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • Salt
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 4 ounces tomato juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons horseradish
  • Celery stalks and olives

  1. Pour some salt onto a shallow plate. Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of your cocktail glass and dip the rim into the salt.
  2. Get a cocktail shaker and pour vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, horseradish, pepper, hot sauce, celery salt, and regular salt into it.
  3. Shake the mixture for about 20 seconds, until the shaker looks frosty.
  4. Pour into the cocktail glass, garnishing with a celery stalk, olives, and remaining lemon wedge.
