Having a cup of coffee and nibbling on a fresh croissant is a perfect way to start your day. But this also means that you have to get out of bed, head to the bakery, buy some croissants, bring them back home, and only then enjoy this routine.

Of course, the easiest solution for this is to buy croissants in bulk and have enough around to last you for several days. But this tactic comes with some serious flaws, as the croissants usually get stale a few hours later. You will get to have a croissant as soon as you open your eyes, but that croissant will also be stale and provide nowhere near the taste you are looking for.

Luckily, there is a little trick that will turn your stale croissants into a fresh pastry in a matter of minutes. And you only need an air fryer to pull it off.

How to Do It

According to Claire Lower of LifeHacker, stale croissants and most other pastries can return to their former glory with an air fryer. First, you need to heat the air fryer to 350F. Then sprinkle the croissant with some water and pop it into the air fryer for three to four minutes. Don’t forget to flip it midway through the process.

Lower says that the combination of heat and water will help the croissant to gain additional moisture and regain its softness and fluffiness. So what are you waiting for? Test this out and let us know how you like it!
