Sometimes, you may feel like treating yourself to a special meal that is a little different to your usual meal plan. Still, the idea of spending ages slaving away in the kitchen can prove frustrating. Fortunately, there is a classy dish that is both quick and easy to prepare. Here is a 15-minute lamb chop recipe that’s fit for a king.
- 8 lamb chops
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 lemon
- 1 cup bulgur
- 2 large rosemary sprigs
- 1 cup pitted olives
- 4 cucumbers
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Pour the water into a pot over high heat and bring to a boil. Then, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and toss the bulgur into the pot, regardless of whether the water is already boiling. Add lemon juice and one teaspoon of salt. Once the water hits boiling point, lower the heat to a simmer.
- Chop up the rosemary and olives into bite-sized pieces. Place about two-thirds of the olives and half of the rosemary in the pot. In a separate bowl, combine the remainder of the olives and rosemary with mayonnaise and the other teaspoon of salt. Mix well.
- Once the sauce is blended, spread it across all of the lamb chops on all sides. Place the lamb chops onto a baking sheet and bake for about 3 to 4 minutes. Flip the chops and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
- As the chops are cooking, slice the cucumbers and crush them before throwing them into the bulgur pot. Once the lamb chops are ready, take them out and serve with the bulgur.
