If you’re a fan of peanuts, honeycomb, chocolate, or any of the three, we have the perfect easy treat for you. Even the most novice of chefs literally can’t go wrong with these delicious no-bake salty peanutty chocolate bars. The real beauty of this recipe is that all the ingredients are usually super easy to find, it takes under ten minutes to make and then only needs to be chilled in the fridge before you and your friends can tuck in.

You can also play around with the ingredients and include any other little treats you want. Some additions we’ve tried and loved are glace cherries, Rice Krispies, and M&M’s.

Ingredients:

  • 7 ounces dark chocolate
  • 3.5 ounces milk chocolate
  • 8.8 ounces salted peanuts
  • 4.4 ounces unsalted butter
  • 3 Tablespoons golden syrup
  • 8 x 40-gram Crunchie bars (or any honeycomb chocolate)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium pot, break up the chocolate pieces and add the butter and golden syrup. Melt them together gently, on a low heat.
  2. Tip the peanuts into a heat-proof bowl and crush the Crunchie or honeycomb (and any optional additions) on top to create a crumbly mixture.
  3. Once it’s fully melted, take the chocolate mixture off the heat and pour all over the crumbly mixture, combining the two.
  4. Pour it all into a lined baking sheet and smooth the mixture making sure it gets into all the corners.
  5. Sprinkle some extra peanuts and honeycomb over the top, and leave in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it’s all set.
  6. Cut into as many pieces as you’d like. It’s pretty dense and decadent, so we’d recommend smaller slices.
  7. Enjoy!
