We’ll start off with a mandatory disclaimer saying that sure, this sandwich might not be your cup of tea. But we feel pretty strongly that some reading this will find it delicious, and that they won’t ever look back. So without further ado, we’re about to tell you how to make this super simple sandwich—and it’s all based around a hard-boiled egg.

Boil Some Eggs

As stated above, you’ll need at least one or two hard-boiled eggs to make this sandwich. But as long as you’re boiling eggs, you might as well boil a handful. That’s just good practice, after all.

Prepping the Bread

While the eggs are boiling, find yourself sandwich bread that you love. Toast it for best results, but that’s not necessary. When you’ve got your bread, take some mayonnaise and spread it on the bread.

Adding the Eggs

Once the eggs are boiled, cut them up using an egg cutter or even a knife. Spread out the cut egg pieces evenly across the bread. You can use as many eggs as you want at this point. Bear in mind that it’s the focal point of your sandwich.

Extra Seasonings

Now all you really need is the extra seasonings. You can put whatever you want, but the recommendation for this sandwich is specifically salt and paprika. That’s what makes this sandwich truly authentic, but you’re always welcome to experiment with other ideas.
