When it comes to preparing a seasoning blend for chicken, it’s hard to go wrong. You can always just mess around with what feels natural, because spices are usually pretty forgiving when it comes to cooking. However, if you’d like a little bit of guidance, we have a seasoning blend that’ll elevate your chicken into another realm. So if you’d like to try it out, here’s how it’s done.

Which Spices You’ll Need

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Thyme
  • Rosemary
  • Parsley

Instructions

You don’t really need instructions on how to make this seasoning, now that we’ve already told you which spices to use. However, there are a few things to note of. Before rubbing the spice blend into the raw chicken, make absolutely sure that your mixture balance is on point.

We’d suggest adding a little bit more garlic and onion powder and a little bit less thyme, rosemary, and parsley. The salt, pepper, and paprika should be done more to taste. As long as we’re talking about the salt, too much salt can sometimes ruin a seasoning. You should still be bold and unafraid to take risks, but be aware that you can also add more later if it’s not salty enough. Enjoy!
