Finally heading back to the office after the lockdown? With the dynamic world we live in now, rules and norms for the location of our work are changing all the time. Some people may be working in the office and some may have found a local space to sit and work remotely. Whatever you’re doing, if you’re among the many people who work away from home, you want something you can simply grab in the morning rush and enjoy later in the day.

One of the greatest snack options for work is overnight oats. It makes you feel good, it’s delicious, it energizes you for a workday at the office and it’s so easy to prepare. You can even make a few portions at the beginning of the week and leave them in the fridge until you need them. There is no right or wrong way to do it, and you should be creative with it! For this life hack, you’re going to need several nice jars with screw-on lids. Here’s how to make it.

Ingredients:

  • Large bag of oats
  • Milk/ Milk substitute
  • Assorted flavoring (Honey, Chia seeds, berries, bananas, strawberries, nuts, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. On Sunday, place five jars on the counter. Fill each one up about halfway with oats. Then pour milk. You can use any kind of milk or milk substitute you want. Pour around the same amount of milk as the oats.
  2. When it comes to flavoring, honey is a classic all-time favorite. You can leave it plain, or get creative. Once you’ve prepared five jars, leave them all in the fridge. The milk and flavors will make the oats soft and delicious. If you really want to upgrade them you can always add whipped cream, syrup of any kind and a fruit of your choice.
  3. Every day before leaving the door, take one, and enjoy!
