Are you looking to mix up your Taco Tuesdays? Well, this family-style fish tacos recipe is filling, delicious, and you can add whatever sides you enjoy. It’s excellent for family nights or for sharing a glass of wine with friends. They don’t take long to prepare and they give your guests options for them to personalize their own tacos.
Ingredients:
- 4 cod fillets
- Salt & pepper to season
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1/2 tablespoon ground coriander
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 8 mini tortilla wraps
Harissa Mayonaise Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon harissa paste
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- Sprinkle black pepper
Mango Salsa:
- 1 cup finely diced mango
- 1/2 cup finely diced tomatoes
- 1/3 cup finely diced red onion
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Handful of chopped parsley
- Salt & pepper to season
Instructions:
- Combine salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, cumin, ground coriander, lime juice, and oil in a bowl and coat the cod fillets, and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.
- Add all the salsa ingredients to a bowl and mix together.
- Combine the harissa paste, mayonnaise, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat, cook both sides of the cod fillets for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Allow the cod fillets to rest for a couple of minutes before breaking apart with a fork.
- In a separate pan warm the tortilla wraps.
- Start to build the tacos.
- You can top them with fresh parsley and serve them with extra salsa and lime wedges.
