As the weather gets colder, you may be looking for delicious hot drinks to help warm you up. Hot chocolate is a classic warm drink, but sometimes you want to spice it up a little with extra flavors. When that happens, there’s luckily a lot of super yummy flavors that go delicious in hot chocolate. Here are a few.

Bailey’s Irish Cream

There’s nothing like the creamy, vanilla-y, and slightly boozy drink to warm you right up on a cold night. It’ll help you sleep, too! Add as much or as little as you like, though be careful not to overload because if you do the drink will be quite sweet!

Cayenne and Cinnamon

Many shops call this flavor combo “Mexican hot chocolate”, and it’s great for if you want to REALLY warm yourself up. That’s because the cayenne adds a serious spicy kick, but it goes deliciously with the hot cocoa. It’s especially good if you use dark hot chocolate mix or even cocoa powder straight with some sweetener.

Peppermint

Another seasonal favorite is chocolate mint, and hot chocolate is a great place for this delicious flavor. You can make this by adding storebought peppermint syrup, or by steeping some fresh mint leaves in your heating milk if you’re making it stovetop.
