Tasty Scallion Butter is Quick and Easy to Make

We all enjoy having some butter in our life. Whether it’s on toast, on pancakes and waffles, or inside a sandwich, the truth is that butter always makes things just a little bit better. This is why we don’t blame you for thinking butter is perfect as it is. But what if we told you that butter could be even better?

By adding some caramelized scallions and a few other ingredients to your good ol’ plain butter, you can actually make it taste even better. Not only that, but scallion butter will give you even more options to add some butter to your life. So let’s check out how to make it.

Ingredients:

  • 4 scallions
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 small chili pepper
  • salt and black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Line scallions on a baking sheet, brush with some olive oil and sprinkle some salt and pepper on them.
  2. Bake in the oven for 3 minutes on each side. Take out and let the baked scallions cool off before slicing them into smaller pieces.
  3. Add butter, scallions, de-seeded chili pepper, a pinch of salt, and a bit of black pepper to a blender. Blend until the ingredients are roughly combined. Don’t leave it on for too long if you don’t want a butter paste.
  4. Refrigerate for an hour and eat as you please.
