]]>The only thing better than warm peanut butter cookies fresh from the oven are peanut butter cookies topped with a healthy dollop of marshmallow Fluff. Soft and chewy with just the right amount of sweetness, this recipe by Browned Butter Blondie is the perfect treat for almost any occasion. Amp up the nuttiness with some peanut butter chips, or use chocolate as a s’mores-y alternative.
Why settle for store bought cupcakes when you can make these bad boys instead? With a moist and fluffy vanilla cake base and a swirl of two kinds of frosting on top, this recipe by Sturbridge Bakery is everything we love about fluffernutter sandwiches, reimagined in dessert-form. Hit the meringue with a blow torch to give them that ooey-gooey toasted marshmallow flavor.
If regular peanut butter and marshmallow alone don’t quite feel like enough, this recipe by Mary Ann from The Beach House Kitchen is sure to hit the spot. Starting with a peanut butter cookie-style and Fluff base, she tops it all off with whole Nutter Butter sandwich cookies for a fun and nostalgic twist. You’re going to want to have a tall glass of milk on hand—trust us!

Oreos have finally met their sugar-free match with these keto-friendly, high-protein chocolate sandwich cookies. They’re sweetened with monk fruit, which means no artificial aftertaste, and because they’re made with almond flour, they’re also naturally gluten-free.
Food allergy sufferers, rejoice — there’s finally a cookie available free of the top 9 most common food allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, and soy. They’re also vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO, but you’d never guess from how great they taste. Partake’s most popular flavor is chocolate chip, though we’re partial to the Birthday Cake variety.
Remember those little bags of Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies we used to get at birthday parties and in the cafeteria? Simple Mills Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies taste just like those, but better. They’re made with almond flour, so they’re safe for those with gluten intolerance and are sweetened with unrefined coconut sugar.

Her holiday cake designs include red gloves, a holiday sweater, and a cup of whipped cream-covered hot chocolate. It doesn’t get much better than this.
These downright magical cookies by @poshlittledesigns are the epitome of holiday magic. Just look at that sweet sugary icing in soothing pastel colors and let their festive spirit inspire you, get some tree and snowflake-shaped cookie cutters, and create your own version.
We know, holidays are naturally associated with soulful hugs, cheerful carols, and bellies full of roast chicken. But we mustn’t forget the iconic, misunderstood anti-hero of Christmas: the Grinch! He deserves a place on our cookie decorations list, too. So, if you’re into some less basic cookie ideas, let yourselves be inspired by @kelliebakesandco’s Grinch designs.

Add the dough to the butter mixture and once mixed divide into three bowls. Add food coloring to each mixture. You could add green to one and red to another while keeping the third plain. Place the dough into a spritz cookie press where you’ll be able to add the desired shape to each cookie.
Once pressed, place each cookie on a baking tray and bake in the oven until each one is lightly bronzed on the sides. Then, allow the cookies to cool. Your Christmas cookies are now ready to serve.

]]>Those that leave a lasting impression tend to have an exceptional signature product that customers are happy to return for again and again. While, unfortunately, we’re not always able to visit our favorite bakeries in person, we have discovered a few copycat recipes that are just as good as the originals. Read on for a few of our favorites.
Magnolia is a world-famous bakery that first opened in New York City in 1996 and now has several locations around the United States. Their banana pudding is a cult favorite that dessert lovers from all over come to enjoy, and it happens to be quite simple to recreate at home. This take by A Bountiful Kitchen is as delicious as the original and contains only six ingredients.
Technically, Jacques Torres is more of a chocolate shop than a bakery, though its signature cookies can definitely hold their own in the pastry department. Described by the owner as “a lot of chocolate with a little cookie dough around it,” the New York Times declared them as one of the best chocolate chip cookies, inspiring many food bloggers to create their own versions of the recipe. We love this one by Cookies & Cups.
No flavor combination will ever come close to the absolute power couple that is chocolate and peanut butter, and, in our opinion, few bakeries seem to understand this better than Levain. Their dark chocolate peanut butter chip cookies are soft, indulgent, and packed with peanut butter, and if we lived closer to one of their store locations, you’d better believe we’d be buying a box every other day. Fortunately, we have this recipe by Modern Honey to get us through when the craving strikes.

]]>We thought we’d kick things off with peanut butter cookies. Peanut butter cookies can be somewhat of a niche type of cookie, because not everyone is a truly peanut butter lover. However, those who love peanut butter swear by these babies every time.
The same point that we made about the peanut butter cookies can also be said for snickerdoodles—except in this case, we’re talking about cinnamon. Snickerdoodles are essentially cinnamon sugar based cookies, and they’re simple in the best way.
And last, but certainly not least, chocolate chip cookies is probably the most deserving cookie to be on this list. They’re simply iconic in every single way, and they’ll probably be popular for centuries to come.

]]>The jury’s still out on exactly what a whoopie pie is. Some say it’s a cake, while others maintain it’s more of an oversized cookie. Wherever you stand, you’re sure to enjoy this homemade confetti version. The outside is flavored with vanilla and almond and dotted with plenty of rainbow sprinkles, while the buttercream frosting inside makes it feel just like a slice of birthday cake.
This recipe by Ginger Snap’s Baking Affairs puts a colorful twist on traditional cheesecake by incorporating rainbow sprinkles into a creamy vanilla batter. It’s easy to whip up and requires less baking time than full-sized cheesecakes, so you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time celebrating.
These fluffy, moist donuts by Barley & Sage have a cake-like texture and are baked, not fried, making them a healthier alternative to traditional donuts. They’re packed with rainbow sprinkles and topped with a sweet vanilla glaze, which can be left white or colored pink for even an extra-festive appearance.
