Taco Pasta is the Tastiest Sunday Lunch Idea

Who doesn’t love tacos, and who doesn’t love pasta? Yes, it’s possible to combine these two foods and make taco pasta. It’s just as good as it sounds. This recipe takes around 20 minutes and can become your go-to for Sunday lunch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups small shell pasta
  • 1/4 cup taco seasoning
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • fresh chopped cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Start by getting a big frying pan. Turn on the stove to medium-high.
  2. Add a little oil to the pan, and when it’s heated you can add the ground beef as well.
  3. Cook the meat until you notice that it has a brown color.
  4. Remove the fat from the pan and you can now cook the onions together with the garlic.
  5. After 2 to 3 minutes you can pour in the water, tomato sauce, pasta, and taco seasoning.
  6. Add a lid to the pan and lower the heat to medium.
  7. Let the taco pasta cook for 5 to 10 minutes. When the pasta is completely done you can take the pan away from the heat.
  8. Add the cheese and cilantro to finish off. Serve it while it’s hot.
