Taco Bell is doubling down on its commitment to offer more vegan choices. The fast-food chain just announced that it will bring back its famous Nacho fries while pairing them with a vegan Nacho sauce.

According to the official announcement, the hugely popular Nacho fries, first presented in 2018, will return to the menu on October 12. They now come in a larger size and are offered with a non-dairy dip compared to previous iterations.

The vegan Nacho sauce is reportedly made out of a combination of chickpeas and soy and will be available across the nation for a limited time.

The new vegan offering was inspired by the huge success of Vegan Crunchwrap. Introduced as a limited-time item earlier this summer at selected locations, Vegan Crunchwrap has been a top seller and quickly went out of stock. It was constructed in the same way as the chain’s other Crunchwrap offering but has plant-based protein instead of beef and a vegan cheese sauce.

“This sauce, born from the success of our Vegan Crunchwrap, represents Taco Bell’s commitment to providing delicious, craveable food for a variety of lifestyles—whether you’re vegan, flexitarian, or want to try something new, there’s a place for you at our table,” said Taco Bell’s Global Chief Food Innovation Officer Liz Matthews in a statement.
