Surprise Your Family With This Spinach-Stuffed Chicken Breast

Thinking of new recipes to make weeknight meals more interesting can be challenging. Fortunately, there is a unique recipe bursting with flavor that can easily be prepared on any weeknight. Here is how you can surprise your family with a succulent spinach-stuffed chicken breast.


  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup chopped canned artichoke hearts
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened 
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • Red pepper flakes
  • 4 strips bacon


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. While waiting, cut a slit lengthways across each chicken breast and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Put the artichokes, cream cheese, mozzarella, and spinach in a bowl. Mix and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Fill each chicken breast with the cream cheese mixture and add a piece of bacon to each as well.
  4. Drizzle in olive oil and bake for about 35 minutes, until chicken is golden and bacon is crispy.
