Sparkling Cocktails to Welcome 2023 With Pizzazz

Whether your plans involve a party with friends, or a chill evening at home is more your speed, a bottle of bubbly is a fun and festive way to celebrate the arrival of a New Year. When we host, we love to pass around glasses of champagne for everyone to toast at midnight. Sometimes we even take things up a notch with sparkling wine cocktails. You can create your own by adding fruit, flavored syrups, and different types of liquor to your champagne, or keep things simple by following a recipe. Here are a few of our NYE fizzy favorites.

Blood Orange Champagne Mule

This cocktail by Half-Baked Harvest is like a mimosa with an upgrade. It uses blood orange and lime in place of orange juice while ginger beer and mint add even more flavor.

Champagne Cocktail With Raspberry Syrup

Raspberry syrup and Chambord give sparkling wine a deliciously festive twist in this simple cocktail by The Healthful Ideas. It’s easy to put together with just three ingredients and looks lovely when served in a champagne flute.

French 77

A classic French 75 is made with gin, sugar, lemon juice, and Champagne, but add a little elderflower and your cocktail is suddenly worth two more. Of what, we’re not sure exactly. We just know this recipe by Burrata and Bubbles is worth mixing up for any celebration.
