Your choice at the cereal aisle will soon become just a bit tougher. Rap superstar Snoop Dogg recently decided to enter the cereal game and launch a new breakfast cereal called “Snoop Loopz.”

Snoop’s new venture was announced by his business partner and fellow rapper Master P, who unveiled the cereal on his Instagram. Fittingly, the mascot for the cereal is a Siberian husky pup who goes by the name Captain Ace.

“We’re taking over the breakfast game,” Master P wrote while sharing a video featuring Snoop Loopz. “When we say more marshmallows, we mean, you won’t have to go on a treasure hunt looking for marshmallows in Snoop Loopz.”

According to the announcement, the cereal is gluten-free and will come in various flavors. It is produced by Snoop’s company Broadus Food, which also makes various other food products like oatmeal, grits, pancake mix, and maple syrup under the brand Momma Snoop.

The website for the Snoop Loopz also indicates that Snoop Dogg’s entry into the cereal business also has a charitable side to it. The mission of the brand is to “tackle homelessness and feed needy families” and will support various charities, including “Door of Hope.”

There is still no information on when and where Snoop Loopz will be available, but you can bet we are trying them out as soon as that happens.
