Most people think of an air fryer as a kitchen appliance that can only fry food. It is in the name, right? Well, a great thing about air fryers is that they can be used for many more things, including poaching eggs.

Making poached eggs in a conventional way is a lot more challenging than it looks like. You can do everything right and still end up with an underwhelming result. However, with an air fryer, the process becomes much easier, and results are way more consistent.

If you own an air fryer and want to make poached eggs stress-free, follow this simple guide.

Instructions:

  • Turn on the air fryer and preheat it to 350F
  • Take a ramekin or another air fryer-safe dish and brush it with cooking oil or spray it with cooking spray
  • Crack an egg directly into the ramekin and add one or two tablespoons of water, depending on the size of the egg
  • Place the ramekin inside the air fryer and let the egg poach for about 5-6 minutes
  • Take the ramekin out using oven mittens and remove the egg using a spatula

There you have it. You should have a perfect breakfast and a new favorite way of poaching eggs.
