We’re big believers in eating seasonally as much as possible throughout the year, and fall is no exception. We’re also big believers that pasta makes for an excellent blank canvas that can showcase a wide variety of other flavors and ingredients such as seasonal vegetables.

Fall is an amazing time of year for tons of different kinds of produce, which, served with a little spaghetti or fusilli, can make for hearty meals that are as healthy as they are delicious. We love whipping up these dishes on chilly evenings, whether just for ourselves or as a fun option to serve at the Thanksgiving dinner table.

Vegan Pumpkin Alfredo Pasta

We’d never have guessed a vegan pasta sauce could taste so cheesy until we tried this pumpkin Alfredo. It can be made with pumpkin or butternut squash puree and is delicious when served topped with a little vegan Parmesan.

Perfect Tangy Fall Pasta

Caramelized onions and sweet delicata squash are complemented by earthy sage, tangy goat cheese, and toasty pancetta in this fall pasta that really is best described with the word “perfection.”

Autumn Fusilli Pasta With Chicken and Fried Sage

We’re of the belief that sage is underrated as a fall flavor. The fried sage in this pasta dish is prepared using Trader Joe’s Autumnal Harvest sauce and can be served with or without chicken.
