Quick Breakfast Idea: Omelet In A Mug

Breakfast is the most important meal in the day because in the morning we need to get as much nutrients as possible so we can have enough energy for the day that is before us. Omelet in a mug is quite an easy recipe that requires no pan, all you need is a microwave and a few minutes spare time. You will have a healthy meal full of proteins without tons of dishes to clean afterwards.  

You’ll need: 

  • 2  large eggs 
  • 1  tablespoon milk 
  • 1  tablespoon chopped onion 
  • 2  tablespoons chopped bell pepper 
  • 2  slices  deli ham, chopped 
  • 1 tablespoon shredded cheddar cheese 
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions  

First, coat the mug with a cooking spray. With a fork or a small whisk you beat the eggs into the mug until you have smooth mixture. Then you add milk, pepper, salt, onions, ham and other spices by wish. Put the mug in the microwave on high temperature for one minute. Then mix the eggs, put cheese on top of it and cook for another 30- 60 seconds on same temperature, until it’s completely cooked.  

Congratulations, your eggs in a mug are ready and you can serve them right away!
