Here’s your guide to making this refreshing cocktail that will not just quench your thirst but get you in the party mood.

  • 1 lime wedge
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 2 ounces light agave syrup
  • 2 red grapefruit wedges
  • 4 ounces ruby red grapefruit juice
  • 4 ounces tequila
  • 1/2 ounce pomegranate juice
  • chili powder
  • salt
  • ice

  1. Pour the chili powder and salt on a plate and mix together. Rub the rims of 2 rock glasses with a lime wedge before pressing the rims against the plate, covering them with the salt and chili powder.
  2. Combine the grapefruit juice, lime juice, pomegranate juice, tequila, and syrup in a blender. Fill with ice and blend at high speed for about 30 seconds until a slushie consistency is achieved.
  3. Fill the rock glasses with ice. Divide the cocktail evenly between the glasses and garnish with a grapefruit wedge before serving.
