Perfect Recipe For Dreamy No-Bake Matcha Cheesecake

This green tea matcha dessert is an awesome combination of cheesecake, pie and tart. Plus it’s vegan, creamy and looks so dreamy. Bianca Zapatka shared this recipe, which is super easy to follow—and if you do, this tasty green cake will be in your fridge in about 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 9,2 ounces Oreo Cookies
  • 5 tablespoons vegan butter
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1,5 tablespoon agar-agar
  • 1 cup soy quark
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons green tea matcha

Instructions

  1. Blend cookies in a food processor, then transfer into a bowl.
  2. Mix crumbs with melted vegan butter and press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a springform pan or tart pan. Leave in the freezer.
  3. Mix ½ cup of coconut milk and agar-agar, bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Add the remaining coconut milk, soy quark, coconut sugar, vanilla extract and green matcha into a medium bowl. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy and then combine it with the agar-agar mixture.
  5. Pour this filling on top of the crust and use a spoon or a spatula to smooth it out.
  6. Leave it in the fridge for at least 3 hours, decorate the cake and enjoy.
