Mixing Milk and Pepsi is Really Becoming a Thing

Mixing soda and milk sounds so unnatural. But like many unusual combinations, this one also has its fans, including one of the biggest soda brands in the world and one popular movie star.

Pepsi recently got its slice of internet fame when it presented a series of ads revolving around “Pilk,” a mix of milk and soda. The ads feature Mean Girls’ star Lindsay Lohan enjoying the drink during the holiday season.

In one ad, Lohan hears a noise in her house and comes to the living room only to find out that Santa Claus made a Pilk and left it on the table.

In a follow-up, it is Lohan who fixes up the drink for herself.

Of course, it didn’t take long before social media users started testing the drink.

Is Pilk any good?

It is important to note that mixing soda and milk isn’t a new thing and has had its devoted group of fans for years. However, it was Pepsi’s ads that really brought it to the mainstream. And it is safe to say that the reactions were mixed at best.

Popular social media influencer Brooke Barry said that the drink is “actually not bad.”

On the other hand, late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert thought it was awful.
