Malibu Barbie Cafes Just Opened in New York and Chicago

In the wake of a summer set to be filled with Barbie-inspired trends and collaborations, no industry is safe from the coming pink wave. So far we’ve seen clothing, makeup, technology, and most recently, food.

Earlier this month, two new Malibu Barbie Cafes opened their doors in Chicago and New York City. The cafes are part of a collaboration between Mattel and Bucket Listers, a brand known for its Instagram-worthy pop-up events and excursions. Until September 15, fans of the iconic fashion doll will be able to dine in style while enjoying the cafes’ photo ops and 1970s beach decor.

The menu was created by Masterchef finalist Becky Brown and includes a variety of California-themed dishes and drinks. Kids and adults alike can think pink with the Pacific Paradise Pancakes and Good Vibes Beet Hummus, or stick with classics like burgers and burritos. For those over 21, the menu also offers a variety of beachy cocktails, including a pink margarita and coconut mojito.

Tickets are available from $22 for kids and $39 for adults and include a 90-minute table reservation along with your choice of entree and side dish. Shared plates and desserts are available at an additional cost. Reservations for New York City can be made here. For Chicago, click here.
