Make Your Own Homemade McFlurry!

One of McDonald’s most beloved treats is, without a doubt, its famous McFlurry. Consisting of creamy, rich ice cream and any one of a number of favorite toppings, it’s hard to say no to one of these any time you make a visit to the Golden Arches.

Did you know that it’s deceptively easy to make a homemade version of this treat at home? Here’s how to do so!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons half and half
  • 1 tablespoon whole milk
  • ¼ cup of any topping (Oreos, M&M’s, Reese’s, etc)

Instructions

  • Start off by combining all four ingredients in a blender. Be sure to measure carefully, as you want the consistency of your homemade McFlurry to mimic that of the original version carefully.
  • Blend on medium speed for about 30 seconds, or until all of the ingredients are combined carefully. Then, blend on high speed for about 10 seconds in order to achieve the whipped, fluffy consistency of the ice cream treat that we are all familiar with.
  • Remove from the blender, serve into a glass, and enjoy with a spoon!
