Indulge in the irresistible aroma and flavor of homemade garlic doughballs with this simple and delightful recipe. These golden-brown bites of goodness are perfect as a side dish, appetizer, or snack for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven according to the pizza dough instructions. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/2-inch thickness. Using a cookie cutter or a knife, cut the dough into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese. Dip each dough piece into the garlic butter mixture, ensuring they are well-coated, and place them on a baking sheet. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the doughballs for added flavor.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until the doughballs are golden brown and cooked through, following the pizza dough package instructions. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve the doughballs warm, optionally with mayonnaise or ketchup for dipping.
