Le Creuset’s New Color is Totally Decadent

You know you’ve officially entered adulthood when you get excited over household items like new bedsheets and appliances. One set of items certainly worth feeling a thrill over is cookware from Le Creuset.

The cast-iron cookware has been around since 1925 and is renowned not just for its quality, but also for how elegant it is. In fact, it said that the Le Creuset Dutch oven was chef Julia Child’s favorite cooking pot. That’s high praise!

These days, Le Creuset makes everything from fondue pots to tea kettles and is famous for its variety of colors which are gorgeous enough to eat. As we head into the holiday season, the French brand has launched a new shade, inspired by something delicious.

The new range is a glistening brown ombré that brings to mind decadent melted chocolate. Labeled Ganache, the rich hue is perfectly reminiscent of the creamy chocolate mixture which almost has a velvet quality to it. It joins the Nutmeg collection, which has tones of cream, brown, and gray; and the red wine-colored Rhone that features gold knobs.

The Ganache range also includes exclusive pieces that are only available at Williams Sonoma, such as the Signature Deep Sauté Pan, Signature Soup Pot, Signature French Oven, and Rectangular Skinny Grill Pan.
