Here is a simple guide to making a Kentucky Benedictine Spread that’s perfect for any party you decide to host.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large English cucumber
  • Chopped chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sweet onion
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions:

  1. Peel and grate the cucumber. Place in a medium bowl with cream cheese, sweet onion, hot sauce, salt, mayonnaise, and black pepper. Mix until fully blended and add a drop of food coloring.
  2. Garnish with chopped chives.
