One of the most common drinks in the world today is coffee. Pretty much everywhere you go, you’ll find cafes on every block, with daily workers—both white and blue collar—rushing in for their steaming morning brew. This brings us to our next point, which is that there are two distinct kinds of coffee—brewed and instant. The common opinion is that brewed coffee is considerably better than instant—but is this really true?
For the most part, yes. Brewed coffee is definitely miles “better” than instant coffee. But bear in mind that we wrote the word better with quotation marks for a reason. “Better” is very subjective, and there are actually many people out there who prefer instant coffee to brewed. They prefer its practicality, as well as its being less bitter than brewed coffee.
However, to touch on our original point, let us amend the word “better” to simply mean “more authentic”. At its core, brewed coffee is the purest realization of the coffee bean itself, and coffee doesn’t get more authentic than that. When you taste it, there’s no denying that you’re drinking coffee, because you can taste the coffee beans working their magic. Whether or not you consider that “better” than instant coffee is up to you—but it’s certainly the more accurate coffee experience.
