How to Make The Tastiest Schnitzel

Perhaps you’ve heard of schnitzel, and perhaps you haven’t. If not, it’s essentially boneless chicken covered in breadcrumbs or some other form of crispiness, and usually accompanied by a unique spice blend. The thing is, most people don’t try to make it because they’re intimidated or it looks too complicated. But it’s actually a lot easier to make than people think, and here’s how to do it!

Bowl Stations

The first thing you should do is set up a series of bowl stations. In one bowl, crack a few eggs and whisk them up. In another bowl, make a mixture of breadcrumbs with whichever seasonings and spices you want your schnitzel to have. If you really want to take things to the next level, set up another bowl with flour as well.

Dipping Time

Now that you have your bowls, it’s time to dip your schnitzel into each of them one at a time. Take your raw chicken and start by dipping it into the egg. Then the flour. And finally, the breadcrumbs. Let your schnitzel be completely covered and sit there for a while.

Frying It

Now that the schnitzel is completely submerged in egg, flour, and breadcrumbs, you can fry it in your skillet. Allow it to cook for at least ten to 15 minutes, depending on the size of your chicken pieces. Once the chicken is cooked and the top is golden brown, you’re done!
