How To Make The Perfect Frosé

Summer is over, but that doesn’t mean we should stop having fun and drinking our favorite cocktails. If you still need a refreshing beverage to relax from time to time, this frosé is a perfect choice.

Just like the name suggest, frosé is a frozen rosé that’s actually super easy to make. Just remember to freeze your rosé the night before, and you can prepare this beautiful pink cocktail using only a few ingredients.

Camille Styles shared this recipe on her blog, and it’s definitely worth a try.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle rosé
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup halved strawberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour rosé into a baking dish, and freeze for at least 8 hours.  
  2. Mix sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring. Once sugar dissolves, take off the heat, add strawberries and mint and leave this syrup for 1 hour to rest. Later strain the syrup, and leave it in the fridge to chill.
  3. Add rosé, lime juice, 1/2 cup syrup, and 1 cup ice into a blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the drink into a glass, add a splash of rose in the end to achieve better texture and flavor.
