If you’re someone who simply loves hot chocolate, and will stop at nothing to make the best hot chocolate imaginable, then listen up. You’re about to hear a very simple recipe for hot cocoa that not only inspires the taste buds, but also the soul. Here’s how to make the most delicious hot cocoa known to man. (Spoiler alert: it’s incredibly easy)

Heat Up The Milk

Start things off by pouring milk into a pot and heating it up. You should allow it to bubble, but once it starts to boil, keep it on medium heat.

Dark Chocolate

Since you’ll be putting the chocolate in milk anyway, we’d advise using dark chocolate. The kind of dark chocolate you use does matter, but we’ll leave it to you to find your favorite dark chocolate brand. Once you’ve got your chocolate, break up the pieces and put them into the steaming pot of milk.

Mixing It Up

Now is the final step towards hot chocolate delight. Mix up your dark chocolate pieces and allow them to melt in the milk pot. Soon you’ll notice the mixture start to dissolve into a homogeneous concoction, and that’s a good sign. When the whole thing turns brown with no clumps, you’ve got yourself a beautiful pot of amazing hot cocoa!
