Carrot juice should be at the top of everyone’s list of favorite drinks. It is not only delicious to drink but also comes with numerous health benefits. Carrots are rich in potassium, vitamin C, vitamin K, and provitamin A while being low in calories and carbs. This veggie can help boost the immune system, help with your eyesight and help control blood sugar in some cases. However, most people think that you need a juicer to make it, which actually isn’t the case. More on that later!

Fresh Carrots vs. Carrot Juice

While it’s easy to assume that eating a fresh carrot is more beneficial than carrot juice, this is not the case. With fresh carrots, your body needs to break the fiber to absorb the nutrients. With carrot juice, there is no need for this, and your body absorbs the nutrients faster and easier.

Buying some carrot juice in a grocery store might be the easiest way for you to get your hands on this great drink, but it doesn’t have to be the only one. You can easily make carrot juice at home and don’t even need a juicer. Here is how to do it.

How to Make Carrot Juice Without a Juicer

1. First, wash the carrots and peel them. Then cut them into slices and put them in a blender. The amount of carrots depends on how much juice you want to get.

2. Add enough water to cover half of the carrot slices.

3. Blend until there are no carrot chunks left.

4. After blended, leave the carrot juice alone for up to 20 minutes to get the best flavor.

5. Using a fine mesh strainer (sterile gauze will also do the job), separate pulp from the carrot juice.

6. Refrigerate for an hour before serving. Enjoy!
