So you’re one of those people suffering from the infamous wine headache, which hits you every time you drink only one glass. The good news is that many people experience wine headaches, and there are a few good ways you can get rid of it.

Avoid Sugar

Both alcohol and sugar cause dehydration, so mixing these two things is not a good idea, as you’re more likely to experience a headache the next day. Next time you’re sipping wine, it might best to skip the dessert.

Drink Water

Alcohol has a diuretic effect, which basically means that it removes water and dehydrates our body as we drink. This may be confusing, but if you are sensitive to wine, then make sure to drink one glass of water with every glass of wine in order to hydrate your body and avoid headache.

Remove the Sulfites

The main reason many people experience wine intolerance is due to the sulfites and tannins found in wine. Luckily, there are products we can buy to solve this problem, such as wine drops that are added to wine to remove the sulfites, or filters that can strain out the sulfites.
