Store-bought ice creams are great, and there is no denying that. Still, the ice cream we make at home is always a bit tastier. Is it so because of pride and sense of achievement we feel for making an effort, or is it actually better? We will never know, but somehow it doesn’t matter.

If you also want to swap your store-bought pint with homemade ice cream, we have just the thing for you. Our recipe for strawberry ice cream is quick to master and will become an instant hit in your household. Don’t believe us? Make it, and you’ll see.

Ingredients

  • 4 cup strawberries
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 5 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Leave a dozen strawberries aside. Chop the remaining strawberries to bits and blend for 30 seconds. Add sugar, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract to the blended strawberries.

2. Take a separate bowl and mix the whipping cream. After you get a nice consistency, add the milk and strawberry mix you made earlier.

3. Keep mixing until all the ingredients are blended.

4. Chop the strawberries you left aside into slices and add to your ice cream. Mix the slices into the ice cream with a spoon.

5. Transfer to a plastic container and leave it in the freezer for three hours.

6. Get a few scoops and forget about everything else.
