With stories of wizards, pumpkin pasties, and potions, it’s easy to associate Harry Potter with Halloween over any other holiday, but the series actually includes plenty of Christmas rhetoric as well. Holiday feasts at Hogwarts and The Burrow are some of Harry’s best memories throughout the seven books. In the muggle world, some food blogger fans have taken it upon themselves to create their own versions of magical treats enjoyed by the characters that would be right at home on any holiday table. Here are a few we especially love.

Mrs. Weasley’s Christmas Fudge

Harry’s first Christmas at Hogwarts is described as the best in his life. For the first time, he’s away from the Dursleys’ neglect and mistreatment and able to enjoy the holiday with Ron. On Christmas morning, he awakes to discover a pile of presents, including a box of Mrs. Weasley’s homemade Fudge. This caramelly British-style fudge recipe by Fictitiously Delicious is inspired by the scene.

Pumpkin Butterbeer Hot Chocolate

Would it really be Christmas without hot chocolate? In true Half Baked Harvest fashion, this recipe takes a classic and turns it up a notch with the addition of fresh pumpkin and plenty of butterscotch. The result is an indulgent, whimsical drink that would be right at home at The Leaky Cauldron.

Butterbeer Cookies

Leaving cookies for Santa is a Christmas tradition, and if you’re going to do it, do it right. Saint Nick and his reindeer are sure to enjoy this recipe by In Bloom Bakery. With a buttery vanilla cookie base and a dollop of Butterbeer frosting on top, they pay homage to one of Harry’s favorite beverages in a festive, seasonally-appropriate way.
