We all have been guilty of ordering more food from McDonald’s than we could possibly eat in one sitting. But that isn’t a bad thing because we can always return to it when we are hungry again.
Now, having leftover McDonald’s food doesn’t always sound like the most appetizing option. Like all fast food, it is best when eaten fresh. But if you reheat it properly, you can still have a great meal.
Reheating McDonald’s Burgers
Reheating McDonald’s burgers takes some extra effort, but it pays off. First, deconstruct the burger. Scrape off the toppings and place it on a plate. Preheat the oven to 350F and pop in the buns and the burger patty. Take out the buns after a couple of minutes and leave the burger patty for another three to four minutes. Then, reassemble the burger and dig in.
Reheating McDonald’s Fries
You can reheat McDonald’s Fries in your microwave or air fryer and get great results. However, the oven still does the best job. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and toss them around with a splash of olive oil. Place in a preheated oven at 400F and reheat for a couple of minutes. Then flip them and bake for a couple of more minutes. They will be crispy and fluffy on the inside again.
You’ve guessed it: McNuggets should also be reheated in an oven. This time, cover the baking sheet with parchment paper, line up the McNuggets, and place them in a preheated oven at 350F. Reheat for 10 minutes, flipping them halfway through. You can also spray them with cooking spray for more crisp.
