Fall is one of the best times of year for produce, and in our opinion, one of the best ways to utilize fresh fruits and veggies is by throwing them into a smoothie. On those odd days when the weather warms back up temporarily or even if you’re just not ready to give up cooler foods yet, smoothies are a delicious way to enjoy seasonal produce with minimal effort required. You can definitely get creative and make your own, but if you’re looking for some inspiration, we’ve got a couple of healthy and tasty recipes that we’ll be making on repeat until at least Thanksgiving.

Pumpkin Gingerbread Smoothie

You can think of this one as a fall-early winter hybrid shake. We had to include something with pumpkin for fall, of course, but it transitions well into the holiday season thanks to warming ingredients like cinnamon, ginger, and molasses.

Sweet Potato Fig Smoothie

We wouldn’t have thought to include sweet potatoes and figs in a smoothie, but we have to admire the creativity. This recipe is packed with fall flavors and incorporates protein powder and nut butter to help keep you full. You can even add some ground flax to the mix and top it with pumpkin seeds for extra nutrition.

Apple Pie Smoothie

Pumpkin’s top contender when it comes to fall recipes is definitely apple and this smoothie is a delicious way to enjoy some seasonal fruit. It contains applesauce, which you can make from scratch or buy ready-made, and oats, which add some fun texture to an otherwise creamy shake.
