Condiments are pretty much an essential to every meal and instead of buying them from the store, why not make your own? Not only will they taste better, but they’ll also have fewer artificial ingredients and preservatives. They’re super easy to make at home and once you make them, you’ll never return to store-bought versions. Check out these four recipes below.

Barbeque Sauce

This barbeque sauce is made with just five ingredients—ketchup, light-brown sugar, white-wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika, which is much less than what’s printed on the store-bought bottle.

Guacamole

Guacamole is a staple for summer picnics, game day, and barbeques, and the key to making a great one is to use very ripe avocados, fresh lime juice, garlic, onion, ripe plum tomatoes, and fresh cilantro.

Tomato Salsa

Spice up Taco Tuesday with homemade tomato salsa. This recipe comes together in just five minutes and it uses tomatoes, garlic, onion, lime, cilantro, and white wine vinegar.

Aioli

Instead of having ketchup with fries, give aioli a try, or spread it on a sandwich. You’ll have to whisk egg yolks with salt and lemon juice and add extra-virgin olive oil and garlic into the mixture to make this condiment.
