Flapjacks are a beloved British treat, made of oats, butter, golden syrup, and sugar. But what’s better than a flapjack? A filled flapjack! Check out these three simple ideas of fillings which will really make your flapjacks into a teatime treat to remember.

Raspberry White Chocolate Yogurt

Ingredients (to fill 10 flapjacks):

  • 1 cup of fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of white chocolate pieces

Instructions:

  1. Melt the chocolate in a pan or the microwave.
  2. Stir the chocolate and raspberries through the yogurt.
  3. Slice the flapjacks in half horizontally, spread the filling in the center, and then chill the flapjacks for an hour.

Chocolate and Peanut Butter

Ingredients (to fill 10 flapjacks):

  • 1 cup of chocolate pieces
  • 3 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon of water

Instructions:

  1. Heat the peanut butter in a pan, add the water to loosen it a little.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a pan or in the microwave.
  3. Combine the chocolate and peanut butter, spread in the center of the flapjacks, and then chill the flapjacks for at least an hour.

Tahini and Yogurt

Ingredients (to fill 10 flapjacks):

  • 1/4 cup of tahini
  • 1/2 cup of yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate spread

Instructions:

  1. Stir the water through the tahini to loosen it a little.
  2. Combine the yogurt, tahini and chocolate spread.
  3. Cut the flapjacks in half horizontally, fill the center with the filling, and chill the flapjacks for at least an hour.
