As one of the world’s most famous chefs, Gordon Ramsay is an expert at cooking as well as training future generations of chefs. Here is some of Gordon Ramsay’s essential cooking advice that is sure to help you in the kitchen.

Always Sharpen Your Knives

Because chopping fruits, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients is an essential part of cooking, using a sharp knife is essential. After all, you don’t want to waste time sharpening or even going shopping for a new knife in the middle of cooking if the one you have isn’t sharp enough.

Let Meat Rest

If your meal includes meat, then allow it to rest for a few minutes once you put it on the chopping board before slicing. This will allow the juices to flow and create a more tender and flavorful meal.

Season Food Properly

While too little seasoning will leave your food bland, too much spice could make the flavor too strong. For this reason, it’s important to keep tasting your food as you cook and season it.
