Fruit Juice Ice Cubes are a Great Idea

Ice cubes are a great way to keep a drink cold. But, during the warm months of the year, if you go outside with a cold drink, especially if you live somewhere with a real hot climate, your drink won’t stay cool for long unless you use ice cubes.

Unfortunately, as we all know, one of the drawbacks of ice cubes is that they inevitably melt after a time, diluting your drink with water and reducing its flavor. No one likes drinking an iced tea and for it to turn watery and weak halfway through the glass, but it is something that happens frequently.

So, what can you do in order to avoid this?

Well, one great way to add a flavor enhancer and to keep your drinks from becoming watery is with fruit juice ice cubes. Instead of freezing water, simply freeze the fruit juice of your choice and put it into your next cold drink.

For example, if you’re making a pitcher of iced tea, you have tons of options. You could freeze lemon juice, mango nectar, or orange juice in order to give your tea a flavor twist and to keep it from becoming boring and watery! This trick also works to keep fruit drinks and other compatible beverages cold without losing a bit of flavor!

Try it out, and you’ll reap the flavor benefits.
