Everyone loves banana bread, and everyone loves something fried. Why not combine the two and make a delicious new treat! This fried banana bread is on a stock so it’s portable, delicious, and will be a crowd favorite at any picnic or party.

Ingredients

The main ingredient for this recipe is obviously bananas, but you will also need sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, neutral oil, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Instructions

  1. Cut up the bananas so that you only use the middle section. Put that section on a stick and freeze them for 1 hour. Do not throw away the other parts of the banana because you will use them later for the banana bread batter!
  2. Make the batter for frying. Mash up the rest of the bananas and add to it all the wet ingredients, which means all except the salt, cinnamon, baking powder, and flavor.
  3. Once the wet ingredients are well combined, add in the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Pour the batter into a glass for better assembly.
  5. Dip the bananas into the batter and fry in oil until golden brown
  6. Serve either plain, top with powdered sugar, or have chocolate or caramel for people to dip. Enjoy!
