Eating Right is Worth the Time

It’s not uncommon to be balancing about a million things in our daily lives. Whether you are a parent, student, full-time worker or all three, it can be hard to make your health and diet a priority. When rushing from appointments to meetings though is actually the most important time to be eating nutritionally.

 

When you end up stranded between obligations and in a time crunch fast food or grocery store meals can sometimes feel like the only options. And if you are trying to save money, often times your ‘lunch’ ends up being a snack or protein bar.

Not only is meal prep an excellent way to make sure you are getting all the proper vitamins and protein, but often times prepped meals are less expensive than eating out even fast food. There are many great recipes that can last you all week, that way you don’t even have to stress out during your busy days about what you are going to eat.

The Instagram account @mealpreprecipes is a great resource for prepping recipes. Rather than worrying throughout the day, all you have to do is set aside a few hours on Sunday or your day off for a few hours of extensive cooking.
