Easy Tuna Puttanesca To Enjoy With Friends

This is the perfect recipe for when you want to invite your friends over for dinner. It’s super easy to make and mouthwateringly delicious.  

The ingredients you’ll need for this recipe are: 

  • 4  (6-ounce) tuna steaks 
  • ¼  teaspoon  black pepper 
  • ½  teaspoon  salt 
  • 2  cloves  garlic, minced 
  • 1  tablespoon olive oil 
  • 1  (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes 
  • 1 anchovy fillet, drained and minced 
  • ¼  cup  pitted kalamata olives, coarsely chopped 
  • 1  tablespoon drained capers 
  • 2  tablespoons  parsley, chopped 
  • ⅛  teaspoon  crushed red pepper (or to taste) 

Instructions:  

Put oil in a pan and heat it on a medium heat. Add salt and pepper on the fish and cook it for 3-4 minutes per side. When it’s done, remove the pan and use an aluminum foil to cover the pan so you can keep it warm. Cook the garlic and anchovy while stirring for about one minute, then add the tomatoes, capers, crushed red pepper and olives and cook for two or three more minutes, or until the tomatoes start to break down, while occasionally stirring.  

Put the topping over the cooked fish and add a little parsley to taste. Invite your friends and enjoy together!
