Hummus is the favorite dip for many foodies. This chickpea deliciousness is so easy to make at home. Buying one from the store is always the simplest way, but once you know that making this hummus recipe at home will only take you 5 minutes, you will never go store bought again.

To make this tasty hummus recipe you will need 1 clove garlic, 1 15 oz can chickpeas, 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 1/4 cup olive oil, kosher salt, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 2 tablespoons tahini, and 1/4 teaspoon paprika.

How To Make It

You will be surprised at how easy this hummus recipe is. You only have to spare five minutes of your time to prepare it. Aside from the ingredients above, you’ll also need a food processor on hand. First, put the rinsed chickpeas together with the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, tahini and salt in the processor. Process everything until you get a creamy mixture. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water to make the hummus smoother and thin its consistency. Once you’re done with that, your hummus recipe is done and ready to be served. Feel free to add some paprika on top or on the side. Also, extra olive oil would be great. Enjoy!
