Even if you decide to skip ordering pizza for dinner and make a homemade meal instead, that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll eat a healthy dinner. There are plenty of things that can sabotage our dinner, so here are some bad dinner habits you should try and avoid.

Overdressing Your Salads

Eating a salad is a great way to add more veggies to your diet, but you can easily make your salads unhealthy by drowning it in too much dressing. Most store-bought dressings are packed with sugar, so try not to sabotage meals by overdressing the salad.

Eating in Front of the TV

We all like to eat dinner while watching our favorite TV show from time to time, but don’t make this a habit. Eating in front of the TV while you’re distracted can often lead to overeating, so it’s better to sit down and eat with your family.

Frying Your Food

Fried food is delicious, but it’s also very unhealthy because it’s high in calories and stripped of minerals. Instead of eating fried food, try steaming, roasting, or grilling something for dinner because it’s healthier and equally delicious.

Eating Too Fast

Eating your meals too quickly can make you feel bloated and super full afterwards, and can eventually lead to obesity, so slow things down and chew your food properly.
