Corn Ribs is TikTok’s Latest Food Craze You Should Know About

TikTok introduced us to more amazing food trends, hacks, and recipes than we can count—and they just keep on coming. The latest viral craze to take this social media app by storm is roasted corn ribs.

If you’re a huge fan of corn and want to take a break from corn on the cob, this rising food trend is just the thing for you. It’s pretty simple to recreate, and all you need to do is cut your corn into quarters and fry them until you get curly, rib-like pieces that you can serve with seasonings and dips of your choice.

This recipe went viral thanks to TikTok user Farrah Jalanbo aka @spicednice, especially after several popular cooking accounts reposted her recipe. It quickly turned out that corn ribs aren’t really a novelty, and you can even order a deep-fried version at a Los Angeles-based restaurant Le Coupé.

Jalanbo discussed this viral craze with Today and said she enjoys eating corn ribs this way because they’re fun, delicious and so quick to make, in addition to being less messy than corn on the cob.
