Keep Things Simple

Reddit user Daneoid reminded us all that less is more with this powerful message: “Keep it simple. Something with three to four ingredients that go really well together is better than something with twelve ingredients that clash with each other.”

Respect the Microwave

Some of us tend to look down upon microwaves as if they don’t belong in the world of “gourmet cooking”, but this is a mistake! “Don’t dismiss the microwave as a tool of the unsophisticated,” relayed Reddit user Wolfgeist. “Many of the best chefs in the world use the microwave intelligently. Freeze sauces and put them in freezer bags stacked in the freezer. Don’t be pretentious about using a microwave but also learn its strengths and weaknesses.”

Use Salt Generously
