The two popular brands decided to join their forces and present an unusual product that combines Heinz’s popular condiment [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise and Terry’s Chocolate Orange’s orange-flavored chocolate. It’s called Chocolate Orange Mayo, and it might be the next most divisive thing on the internet.
The item is branded as a “smooth and delicious spread” that pairs well with toast, pancakes, and all sorts of desserts. Heinz’s official Instagram account even provided some recommendations to those brave enough to try it.
According to the official statement, Chocolate Orange Mayo will be available only in the United Kingdom, but you won’t be able to buy it in your local store. Instead, the companies organized a giveaway that will see Heinz shipping 200 jars and Terry’s Chocolate Orange shipping 100 jars to their social media followers. You can enter the giveaway until 13th December, with the applications being limited to UK residents.
As you might have guessed, social media had a strong reaction to the announcement, and the opinions were divided. While some were outraged by the idea of combining orange chocolate and mayonnaise, others were intrigued and hoped to have a chance to try it. As of now, nobody actually knows whether Chocolate Orange Mayo works or not, and we’ll have to wait for the reactions of the giveaway winners to know it for a fact.
